IRIS USA donated over 11,000 masks to The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Tuesday, July 14th.

According to Beth Smith, UofA Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, this donation came about thanks to a student-lead initiative started by 2nd year student Kylie Kilian, pictured below.

Kylie had been sewing cloth face masks herself to donate to those in need. As she recruited more students to help, it quickly grew into a much larger operation, which has since provided donated masks and other necessities to the Navajo Nation, the Refuge Health Clinic and other hard-hit populations. IRIS USA was impressed by the selfless actions of these students and happy to aid their efforts through this donation.
